COVID-19 Warning
Medi-Weightloss® has developed enhanced health and safety System Standards for our Franchisees. Each Medi-Weightloss® business is independently owned and operated and as a result has the decision-making authority regarding the implementation of such enhanced health and safety standards. You must follow all such instructions while being present at the Medi-Weightloss® location.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and patients with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting Medi-Weightloss® you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Help keep each other healthy.
Our primary goal during these trying times is to be present for you, continue to provide services, and remain a dependable resource for your overall wellbeing.
As always, we are dedicated to keeping our office clean and sanitized to the highest of standards. Please know, that in an abundance of caution, we have further enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting protocols in order to decrease any potential exposure risk. We request your patience should this causes any delays during your visit.
It is important to understand that the people with the highest risk to be seriously affected by COVID-19 are those with weakened immune systems: elderly, smokers, and those with chronic medical conditions such as lung disease, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and more. Proper hygiene, good health, and a strong immune system is one of the best defenses against COVID-19 and other viruses. Now is the time to maintain your healthy lifestyle!
Below are several tips from our Providers:
- Keep your Medi-Weightloss® appointments and stay on the Program. In addition to helping you stay on track during these challenging times, our Signature Injections support a healthy immune system.
- Stay hydrated. Proper hydration is essential for overall wellbeing and an optimally functioning immune system – meet your daily hydration goals.
- Remember daily supplements. Our Vita Super multivitamin formula is intended to supply our patients with recommended essential vitamins and minerals.
- Eat vegetables and fruits. Fruits and vegetables, especially those rich in vitamins A and C, are immune-strengthening foods rich in antioxidants.
- Consume proteins rich in zinc. Protein foods that are rich in essential minerals such as zinc are important in the production of white blood cells and other aspects of the immune system. Include foods such as chicken, turkey, shellfish, eggs, nuts, and seeds.
- Reduce stress, make time for exercise, and increase self-care. Get adequate sleep, quit smoking, and limit consumption of alcohol.
- Follow general CDC Guidelines for keeping yourself and your family healthy:
- Take everyday preventive actions to stay healthy.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
