Spinach Chicken Burger with Mashed Avocado

Ingredients

  • 12 oz ground chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, raw
  • 1 Tbsp , chopped cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup chopped spinach, raw
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp feta cheese, fat-free, crumbles
  • 1 medium sliced tomato
  • ½ cup mashed avocado
  • 4 leaves butter lettuce

Directions

  1. Prepare either a grill or a grill pan and set to high heat.

  2. Mix the ground chicken with the seasonings, spinach, feta cheese, and lime juice until well combined.

  3. Form the chicken into 4 burgers. Grill the burgers for about 5 minutes each side, or until juices run clear.

  4. Serve with mashed avocado, lettuce, and tomato.
