Mark Dollar, M.D.
Owner
Dr. Mark F. Dollar,a board certified Family Practice physician, is a native of Monroe, LA and a graduate of West Monroe High School. He graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1990 and from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport in 1994. Dr. Dollar completed his Family Practice Residency at Louisiana State University in 1997. Since that time Dr. Dollar has been practicing in West Monroe where he lives with his wife and two children. Dr. Dollar’s clinical interests include preventative health maintenance, hypertension, and diabetes.
Byron Henry
Owner
Dr. Byron Henry is a Winnsboro native and proud alumnus of Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry 2002. From there, he attended medical school at LSU in Shreveport, and successfully pursued a residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Health Center, Tyler, and during which married his now wife, Amy, a West Monroe native. They moved back home after their first of 3 beautiful daughters was born, and have called Monroe home since. Board certified diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine since 2010, he currently sees patients from 4 months of age throughout all of life’s stages.
Lisa Dollar
Counselor
Lisa Dollar was born and raised in Bradley, Arkansas and moved to Monroe to attend Northeast Louisiana University (currently ULM). It was here that she received a bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education in 1988. In 1994 Lisa married Dr. Mark Dollar and within 7 years, they had two children, Lauren and Drew. After nine years of teaching, she became a stay at home mother. When Lisa’s daughter, Lauren, was 20 months old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Lisa’s focus in life completely changed. Lisa started taking diabetes education classes and CME courses with her husband so she could learn all that she could in nutrition and diabetes care. She now uses her knowledge on diabetes to help patients with a similar diagnosis.
